Packing
We would like to introduce the "packing" stock handled by Mishima Tool Co., Ltd.!
A packing refers to a material that fills the gaps in connection parts. Differences between packing and gaskets: While their functions are the same, their applications differ. - Packing is used in moving parts. - Gaskets are used in stationary parts. Packing: A sealing material used in sliding parts to maintain airtightness and liquid tightness. Gasket: A sealing material used in fixed parts to fill gaps at joints and prevent leaks. Thus, while their roles are similar, the locations and situations in which they are used differ. Types of packing and gaskets: - Oil seal: A packing used to prevent oil-related leaks. - O-ring: A packing with a circular cross-section. - Metal gasket: A packing made of metal that is less prone to deterioration. - Rubber gasket: The most common type of packing. Our company handles various types of packing, including vortex packing, Teflon sand packing, flange (inner surface and full surface) packing, EPDM rubber packing, neoprene sponge packing, etc. *Please feel free to contact us even for items not listed above.
